Why we exist
Editing is where most video projects stall.
Cutting a two-hour game down to a highlight reel, blurring every face in a bodycam clip or rescuing badly exposed footage can take a day of careful, repetitive work. Outsourcing it is expensive, and most software still expects you to do it frame by frame.
VIDIO launched in 2023 with a single AI tool for background removal. Creators and production teams adopted it for real work, and the platform grew from there. Today it covers the whole path from raw footage to a published, measured video.
We keep one rule: the AI does the tedious part, and you keep control of the result. Every automatic edit can be reviewed, adjusted or undone.

VIDIO was founded to bring production-grade computer vision, speech and language models to video, where most of the work is still done by hand. The aim is to take the repetitive work out of video so every team can produce professional results without a studio budget.

Your footage
Your footage stays yours.
People send us raw and often private video. These commitments are part of our privacy policy and apply on every plan, including free.
Not used to train AI
We don't use your uploads or results to train, fine-tune or improve general-purpose AI models, unless you explicitly opt in.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Files are encrypted while they move and while they are stored, and staff access follows least privilege.
You decide when it's deleted
Uploads stay until you delete them. When you close your account, your data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days.
72-hour breach notice
If a confirmed incident affects your personal data, we tell you without undue delay and within 72 hours.
GDPR-ready
International transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses. EU, UK or Swiss hosting is available on request.
