Every name, on the right shot

Name tags, titles and place names drawn over the footage at the bottom of the frame, animated in and out, in the colors and words you choose.

Names and titles over the footage

Each lower third slides in over the shot, bottom left, small enough to keep the speaker in view.

FAQ5

Lower third questions

Yes. Put the names and titles in quotes and VIDIO uses them character for character. You can also fix any text in the editor before you export.

Yes. Give a time ("at 0:42") or a clip ("on clip 3"). Lower thirds go at the bottom of the frame, over the footage, so the video keeps playing under them.

No. VIDIO makes its own lower thirds in the colors, font and size you ask for. It can't import After Effects or Premiere templates, and a logo can open or close the video but not sit in a corner.

No. The lower thirds are part of the exported video. Paid plans can also export an XML timeline of the edit for Premiere, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve.

You can add lower thirds for free with limits on footage length and a watermarked 720p export. Paid plans allow longer footage and HD exports. See the pricing page for details.
